Actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu is celebrating her 37th birthday today, April 28. With this, several birthday wishes are coming in order on social media. To mark this special day, Samantha has now announced her new movie Bangaram on her birthday. She took to her Instagram and dropped the first look poster of herself, looking fierce and fearless. In the poster, the Makhee actor is seen aiming with a pistol with a long barrel while exuding an intense gaze.

Decked up in a saree, it also appears as if her face has blood stains, indicating she just shot someone. Nevertheless, the power in her eyes and stance have piqued everyone’s interest to the next level. Sharing the first look poster, The Family Man 2 actor captioned, “Not everything has to glitter to be golden. #Bangaram @tralalamovingpictures Something’s cooking.” Tralala Moving Pictures presents the movie. Tentatively titled Bangaram, this Telugu film marks Samantha’s feature film debut as a producer. The film is expected to have a multi-lingual release.

Fans are excited about the movie and they can’t wait for it. A fan commented, “There is no one is better than you in the whole film industry you are the most beautiful and gorgeous.” While another one thinks that this is blend of her character Vaembu in Super Deluxe and Raji from The Family Man 2. It read, “Kind of Vaembu + Raji collaborated together in a whole figure the fire EYES plays a role here, you’re cooking something! can’t wait alreadyyyyy Sam!!!

There was one more who wrote, “Goosebumps birthday poster. Hope it will be a super hit Sam. Once again Happy birthday love.” Whilst no further details are revealed, Bangaram looks like an earthy, gritty tale that will go on the floor soon. It is expected to hit theatres in 2025.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu was on a sabbatical for a year due to Myositis, an auto-immune condition. However, it looks like she is back in action now. Sam will also be seen next in Raj and Dk’s Indian version of Citadel, titled Citadel: Honey Bunny. She will be paired with Varun Dhawan. It also stars Kay Kay Menon, Simran, Soham Majumdar, Shivankit Parihar, Kashvi Majmundar, Saquib Saleem, Sikandar Kher in pivotal roles.
